Claire is also an art school grad with a degree in film photography so naturally we geeked out about analog, darkrooms, and how much we both love photography. She told me she wanted to make cyanotypes for during the ceremony, and that she had to have film photography at her wedding. I was thrilled. On their wedding day, we spent the morning getting ready, sharing jokes and mimosas.

Who knew that Utah had so much greenery?! In May 2021 my partner and I took our little camper and set out on a road trip through eight different states, including the beautiful state of Utah. Along the way, I was able to schedule a few different photoshoots and one of them was with this phenomenal couple - Megan and Allegra.
Emmy + Dave | A Midsummer Wedding at House on Metolius
Emmy’s mother is Swedish so she spent a good amount of her childhood in Sweden where they celebrate a festival called Midsummer. For their wedding, they had a flower crown crafting station for all the guests as a nod to her Swedish roots! Their wedding had all the joyous laughter you’d expect from a summer festival.
Rebecca + Kenny | Bend Oregon Engagement Session
Rebecca + Kenny knew from the get-go that they wanted their dog, Rookie, to come to their engagement session and I was all for it. So when we decided on locations, I picked one of my favorite places in Bend that is dog-friendly and usually pretty quiet! I was stoked to show them a little piece of Bend and get a chance to hang out - it was going to be perfect.
2021 | A Year In Review
In 2021, I photographed over 30 weddings. I traveled through multiple states, filled up about three hard drives, and quit my day job. My work was internationally published. I was able to incorporate film into my business. I took a lot of leaps and stepped outside my comfort zone more than a few times.
