While I was traveling through Oregon for my 2023 wedding season, the last session on my list before heading back to Colorado was to photograph these two. I set out to Mt. Hood and met them at the Mirror Lakes trailhead so we could enjoy a hike and some catch up time before the photos started. We didn’t skip a beat.
Summer + Luke | Damascus Oregon Wedding
Summer and Luke had their first look in the fields facing the mountain, and chose to read their vows to each other privately. Their ceremony was held in the field behind the house, and despite the sweltering summertime heat, everyone was in good spirits, enjoying the soft June breeze.
Rebecca + Kenny | Mount Pisgah Arboretum Wedding
Rebecca + Kenny travelled to Eugene Oregon for their big day at Mount Pisgah Arboretum, and it was an ideal summertime celebration. They had sunshine, wildflowers, pizza and beer. What more could you need?!
Ericka + Rebecca | Portland Spring EcoTrust Wedding
Ericka and Rebecca shared a sweet first look on the patio of the hotel with sweeping views of downtown Portland. They exchanged letters, and we snapped some photos with the wedding party. And then we all headed a few blocks over to the rooftop ceremony at the EcoTrust.
Erika + Rebecca | Newport Oregon Engagement Session
These two love birds met in a very non-traditional circumstance; while they were both working on a fishing vessel off the Oregon coast. As soon as we started talking about their engagement session, we all agreed it had to be back where it all started - at the coast. Erika and Rebecca are absolutely delightful to be around and I can’t wait to see them say their vows next month.
