B + M booked the most adorable Airbnb deep in the Mt. Hoot National Forest for a quiet weekend in January. They invited only their siblings and had the sweetest exchange of vows amongst the trees, next to the Sandy River. After that, we all spent the evening eating pizza and cake, playing cards games and drinking Branden’s homemade wedding beer.

Claire, Jack and I wandered a park in North Portland, popped champagne, read a few excerpts from their favorite books, laughed, danced and had a damn good time. We were graced with all sorts of weather from rain to sunshine, and the evening ended with the most gorgeous Portland sunset.
