We set the date for a Monday in October, and it was perfect. The sun was shining, the family was there to witness, and we enjoyed golden hour in the very spot that Dylan proposed. It was short, sweet, and beautiful.
Janika + Max | Oregon Coast Engagement Session
Max works on the East Coast, and Janika here in Oregon, so scheduling our phone initial calls was tough! But we made it happen, and I’m so glad. Janika and Max hit it off discussing literature, so when we finally were able to schedule their engagement session, they brought a couple of their favorite books.

Garrett + Shannon | Mt. Rainier Adventure Session
Garrett and Shannon are both medical students, and despite being married, they lived in different states, completing their residencies, hence the short window of time for photographs. They admitted that they only get to spend a few weeks together a year. And they wouldn’t be able to live in the same town again for at least another year or two. How special that they spent an entire day of their short time together, puttzing around the National Park with me?!
Becky + Claire | Intimate Washington Beach House Wedding
Being invited to the Palmer’s family home to photograph Beck and Claire’s special day was such an honor, I can’t even put it into words. We arrived on Saturday before the wedding, and as we toured around the property, Claire told stories of her childhood and the sentiment behind having the wedding at “the farm” as they call it.
