There is a lot that goes into planning a wedding and it tends to get overwhelming (and expensive) very fast. Thus you might be tempted to cut corners with your funds, and one of those things you might be tempted to skip is an engagement session with your photographer. I’m here to tell you why you should definitely not skip out on an engagement session.

These two love birds met in a very non-traditional circumstance; while they were both working on a fishing vessel off the Oregon coast. As soon as we started talking about their engagement session, we all agreed it had to be back where it all started - at the coast. Erika and Rebecca are absolutely delightful to be around and I can’t wait to see them say their vows next month.
Summer + Luke | Ice Cream Engagement Session
You can do whatever the hell you want for your engagement session. Summer and Luke wanted to have a picnic in their favorite park and then get ice cream together, so that’s exactly what we did. The park we chose to go to was one of the places they went on a first date, and ice cream was the topic they bonded over before they even started dating.

Rebecca + Kenny knew from the get-go that they wanted their dog, Rookie, to come to their engagement session and I was all for it. So when we decided on locations, I picked one of my favorite places in Bend that is dog-friendly and usually pretty quiet! I was stoked to show them a little piece of Bend and get a chance to hang out - it was going to be perfect.
