Anna + Spencer | Charleston, South Carolina Wedding

Southern charm is alive and well in Charleston.

2024 was a big year for traveling, and I found myself in Charleston, South Carolina TWICE, which was honestly such a gift. In the spring I went out to Charleston for Anna + Spencer’s Engagement photos. In the fall, I went back for their wedding. Both trips were unforgettable.

Anna + Spencer felt like instant friends, after our first phone call and even more so after their engagement photos, so going back for their wedding was like being welcomed home. They are two of the kindest people, and their families were extensions of that. It was such a joyful occasion, and so so many happy tears were shed (including plenty of my own).

The festivities started at James Island County Park where we had their first look and family portraits, taking full advantage of the gorgeous greenery in the park. Planning and set up was facilitated by Tara LeClaire and she did an incredible job. The ceremony was beautiful, and afterwards we enjoyed cocktail hour with Barrier Island Oyster Co. (YUM).

We headed out to the reception at Ellis Creek Fish Camp in a gorgeous classic car, where we pulled up to the live band already rockin. The food? Delicious. The vibes? Immaculate. The sunset? Perfection. The party?! Poppin off. If I could go back and re-live this day again, I absolutely would. 10/10 no notes.
