My Five Favorite Portland Oregon Wedding Venues

Portland, Oregon is ripe with gorgeous wedding venues.

So how are you supposed to choose just one?! Technically you don’t have to! But if you’re looking for something that will check all your boxes, this is a great place to start. Here are my top five favorite wedding venues in Portland, Oregon.

  1. Union Pine

Union Pine is an incredible venue in a quintessential Portland location!

Tucked away on the Central East Side, it has perfect urban vibes while still being enough of a blank slate to make it entirely your own.

The front windows provide incredible lighting in the spring and summer, and at night they have adorable string lights for a romantic ambiance. There is a multitude of options for setting up a ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, or all three!

And my favorite part? The Loft above is available for rent as well which makes a spectacular getting-ready space. It’s curated and cozy, and also has beautiful natural light (which we photographers love, of course). They have a little kitchen set up for snacks, couches for your family or wedding party to hang, and plenty of space for all the details that go into wedding day prep!

Blockhouse PDX is a fantastic venue if you’re looking for something a little more intimate.

It’s tucked away inside Pomarius Nursery, so you’re surrounded by lush vegetation and covered by a beautiful clear tent (just like your very own greenhouse but without the wild heat). The Nursery makes it feel like you’re hosting your very own royal garden party, and they have a full kitchen space for your caterers to impress your guests.

And extra perk? If you’re looking for something a little bit larger, or you just want more space for your reception, Castaway PDX is right next door! They are technically separate venues, but it’s great to know if you want something a little more spread out after the ceremony.

The Evergreen is another urban Portland gem.

It’s perfect if you’re looking to host a big wedding, with enough space for 200 guests to have a seated dinner. The space itself is clean, modern, and timeless, with brick details and plenty of natural daylight. There is a loft space with some storage for changing clothes or getting ready.

And the best part?! Portland-famous Beer Bar with literally 100 taps, Loyal Legion, is downstairs so between the ceremony and reception, while the team flips the room for you, everyone can go grab a beer!

Eco Trust is a super unique event company that has some of the coolest spaces in Portland available for wedding venues.

They take industrial spaces and turn them into artistic, modern, clean event venues to host whatever style of wedding you’re looking for. They’re also conscious of environmental impact and supporting the local economy and nonprofits! Which I think is a huge bonus.

They have multiple spaces you can rent, including the Ecotrust Building in downtown Portland, or The Redd in South East PDX. Both are fantastic and unique in their own way, and the Ecotrust Building itself has multiple indoor spaces AND their rooftop deck available!

Camp Colton isn’t technically located in Portland but I wanted to include it because it’s one of my favorite venues in the area, and for a lot of great reasons.

Hidden only 50 minutes away from Portland proper, Camp Colton is a sprawling venue that was once used as a summer camp! Now they have acres of sprawling forest land, a historic chapel, a gathering hall/reception space, a beautiful little lake and creek, and everything in between. It’s truly a fairytale.

Not only do they have space to roam, but they also have accommodations for family/friends! So if you’re looking for a place where everyone can stay and camp/lodge after your nuptials, this is it. 10/10 reccommend.

Like I said, there is a plethora of amazing wedding venues in Portland, Oregon, but these are my top five favorites and I definitely think they’ve earned it.
