Late August is the perfect time to elope in Telluride, Colorado.
When I originally met with Annie + Zach we had a lot of fun brainstorming ideas for their elopement. They wanted something that felt like them - vows in the mountains, pictures with their dog, and a cocktail somewhere cute. We bounced between a lot of mountain town options (Colorado is ripe with adorable towns and epic views). They ended up choosing Telluride and I was thrilled, I had never been! We picked a date, and started making our plans.
We ended up choosing our mountain location on the fly thanks to a recommendation from a local, and headed there to find that there was hardly anyone else around. Annie dressed in my van, and we headed to our own little secluded beach spot. We had been dodging the rain all day, and when we got there, the sun came out to give us the perfect summer evening. Annie + Zach said their vows, we popped some champagne, snapped some portraits and then decided to head back into town for more celebrating! We got us a little corner booth in Van Atta downtown Telluride. It was the perfect summer elopement, and I was so thankful to be a part of it.
